Data collected
When a booking request is made, we collect: first and last name, postal address, email address, telephone number, stay dates, number of people, and any additional information the guest chooses to provide (preferences, special requests, presence of infants).
Banking information is collected directly by our payment provider Lodgify Ltd. and at no point comes into the owner's possession.
During simple browsing of the site, technical visit data (page viewed, country, browser) is measured anonymously by Umami Cloud, without cookies or individual identifiers.
Purposes of processing
Data is processed for the following purposes:
- handling booking requests and performing the rental contract,
- communicating with the guest before, during and after the stay,
- issuing accounting documents and complying with legal obligations (in particular tax and record-keeping),
- anonymously measuring site traffic in order to improve content.
Legal bases
The legal bases for processing, under article 6 of the GDPR, are:
- performance of the rental contract for data strictly necessary to the booking and stay (art. 6.1.b),
- compliance with legal obligations for accounting and tax data (art. 6.1.c),
- the owner's legitimate interest for anonymous audience measurement (art. 6.1.f).
Recipients & subprocessors
The owner is the sole recipient of personal data. The following act as data processors:
- Lodgify Ltd. — booking engine and secure payment,
- Vercel Inc. — technical site hosting,
- Umami Cloud — anonymous audience measurement,
- the owner's accounting or tax service provider, where applicable, within the limits of their services.
Transfers outside the European Union
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., headquartered in the United States; servers used for site delivery are located in Europe where possible. Any transfers outside the European Union are governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
Anonymous audience measurement is provided by Umami Cloud, headquartered in the United States. The data collected contains no cookies and no persistent individual identifiers, and is transferred under the standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
The booking engine is operated by Lodgify Ltd., headquartered in Spain, within the European Union.
Retention
Data is retained for the following periods:
- booking and stay data: three years from the last contact with the guest,
- accounting and tax data: ten years, in accordance with legal obligations,
- anonymous audience data: twenty-four months.
Guest rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the French "Informatique et Libertés" law, the guest holds the following rights regarding their personal data:
- right of access,
- right of rectification,
- right of erasure, within the limits of legal retention obligations,
- right to restriction of processing,
- right to portability,
- right of objection.
Exercising rights
These rights may be exercised at any time by writing to contact@kerparavel.fr, attaching proof of identity where necessary. A response is provided within one month.
Cookies & trackers
The site kerparavel.fr does not use advertising cookies or audience-measurement cookies subject to consent. No cookie banner is therefore displayed.
Only cookies strictly necessary to the proper operation of the Lodgify Ltd. booking engine may be set when the guest interacts with it. These cookies are governed by the Lodgify Ltd. policy: https://www.lodgify.com/privacy-policy/.
Complaint to the CNIL
In the event of persistent disagreement after contacting the owner, the guest may lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy — TSA 80715 — 75334 Paris cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr.
